Shivangi Ladha is a visual artist and has done her specialization in MA Printmaking from Royal College of Art (RCA), London in 2016. Prior to this, she did BFA from College of Art, Delhi University in 2012.
Her work has been exhibited Internationally at the Printmaker’s Assembly, STPI Gallery, Singapore 2020, Art on Paper Fair, E/AB Art Fair and New/Prints, IPCNY in New York; Art Rooms Fair, London; Serendipity Art Festival, India; Fragmented Identities at Mead Museum, Massachusetts; Friends of Prints at British Museum; and Print Chamber – Solo Exhibition at India International Centre (IIC), Delhi to name a few. She has received residencies at the Women’s Studio Workshop 2020 and IPCNY 2018 in New York; East London Printmakers 2019; SNAP Studio 2019, Canada; and has received awards such as the Financial Grant from Experimenter Lab, Kolkata 2020, Lalit Kala Academy, Delhi in 2018; Anthony Dawson Young Printmaker Award in 2017 from the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers, London; Shortlisted Alpine Fellowship in 2019, Sweden; Shortlisted Signature Art Prize in 2015 and the 2014 Jerwood Drawing Prize, London.
Her works are in permanent collections at The British Museum, V&A Museum, RCA’s Print Archives, East London Printmaker’s Archive, Mead Museum, Snap Studio’s Archive, Reliance Foundation, Anant Art Gallery and have been published in Art in Print Journal, USA; Snapline Canada; Art Soul Life Magazine and Platform Magazine, India.
She is a founder of India Printmaker House, a platform whose mission is to promote printmaking by hosting print workshops, artist residencies, curating exhibitions and providing financial awards to young printmakers via collaboration with various art organisations & Ngo in India. In past she has taught at the Amity University, Noida as an Assistant Professor and currently take independent print workshops at The Art Buzz Studio, Delhi.
